The Light and Shadow in Your Number | Soul Numerology #21 | Andreea Save

0

Andreea Save leads us to the first contact with our own shadow — the place where, behind what we have rejected, the very gift we were carrying awaits us.

We live in a Universe of polarities: light and dark, day and night, expansion and contraction, beginning and end. The same dance of opposites exists within us.

And yet, on the path of self-knowledge, we are often tempted to choose only the light. We want to keep what we consider beautiful, good, and acceptable and remove fear, anger, the need for control, insecurity, or all those parts that don't fit the image of who we think we should be.

But healing is not just about becoming light. Healing is about wholeness.

The shadow is not our enemy. It often encompasses parts of us that once had no space to exist. Maybe we have learned that we are too sensitive, too dreamy, or too vocal. Maybe we have discovered that in order to be loved and accepted, we must shrink, adapt, or hide something about ourselves.

But what has been pushed into the shadows does not disappear. It waits to be seen, understood, and reintegrated.

And perhaps here lies one of the most beautiful truths of inner work: sometimes, behind the biggest shadows hide our greatest gifts.

We don't need to fight the shadow, but to discover what it is trying to show us about ourselves. And integration doesn't mean justifying every behavior, but becoming aware of the energy behind it and choosing how we want to express it.

What does the day you were born have to do with it?

In Soul Numerology, the day of birth can be seen as a symbolic imprint that we carry in this existence. Each number speaks of certain qualities, resources and potentials, but also of the shadow of the same energy. Two people born on the same day will never be identical. Each carries their own story, their own experiences and their own choices.

So, look at your birthday number like a mirror. Notice what you easily recognize in yourself, but also what challenges you.

Because maybe the question isn't "What are the strengths and weaknesses of my number?", but:

"What gift do I carry within me, how do I express it today, and what choices do I make in accepting all that exists?"

Discover the light and shadow of your number

To find your number, look up the day you were born:

1 – 1, 10, 19, 28
2 – 2, 11, 20, 29
3 – 3, 12, 21, 30
4 – 4, 13, 22, 31
5 - 5, 14, 23
6 - 6, 15, 24
7 - 7, 16, 25
8 - 8, 17, 26
9 - 9, 18, 27

1 – The power to open roads

1, 10, 19, 28

In the light, 1 carries the energy of the beginning: independence, creativity, initiative, courage and a natural ability to lead. They are people who can see a path where others do not yet see it and who need to feel like they are following their own direction.
In the shadows, the same strength can become stubbornness, pride, a need for control, or difficulty accepting help. Sometimes, behind the “I can handle it on my own” can be a fear of vulnerability. But the 1 does not have to learn to be less powerful, but to put his power in the right place. Stubbornness can become perseverance, control - direction, and individualism - autonomy. His gift is fulfilled when he learns to lead without dominating and inspires others to find their own power.

2 – The gift of sensitivity

2, 11, 20, 29

In the light, 2 carries sensitivity, intuition, discernment, and a deep capacity to feel people and relationships. They notice nuances, perceive what sometimes remains unspoken, and seek authentic connection. In the shadow, this sensitivity can become fear of rejection or abandonment, negativity, attachment, or a tendency to lose oneself in order to maintain a relationship.

But what makes him vulnerable can actually become one of his most beautiful gifts. Integrated sensitivity becomes empathy, intuition, and discernment. The lesson of the 2 is to stay close to the other without distancing himself from himself and to discover that the security he seeks outside can also be built inside.

3 – The joy of expressing yourself

3, 12, 21, 30

In the light, 3 brings optimism, creativity, sociability, spontaneity and the gift of expression. They are people who can bring joy, hope and color to the lives of those around them and who easily see the possibilities of a situation. In the shadow, the need for expression can become a need for attention, admiration or validation. Behind an apparent certainty, self-doubt can sometimes hide.

But the shadow of 3 leads him to an important meeting: that of learning to see himself before asking the world to see him. Then, the need for validation turns into authentic expression, and joy no longer depends on external applause.

4 – The clarity of the observer

4, 13, 22, 31

In the light, 4 brings structure, organization, discernment, and the ability to see things clearly. It can see the big picture, bring order to chaos, and has the gift of finding practical solutions.

In the shadows, that same powerful mind can become critical, rigid, skeptical, or caught up in the need to analyze and control everything.

But behind this shadow lies the gift of a mind capable of discerning without judging.

The lesson of 4 is to leave room for the unknown, to unite reason with intuition, and to discover the balance between structure and the natural flow of life.

5 – Freedom to experiment

5, 14, 23

In the light, 5 carries energy, flexibility, adaptability, communication and a deep need to know life through experience. They learn by living and may have the gift of passing on what they have discovered, becoming a natural teacher for others.

In the shadows, the desire for freedom can become restlessness, the constant search for stimulation, or the difficulty of remaining when life demands patience, stability, and commitment.

But the 5's freedom doesn't need to be restricted, it needs to be rooted in. When they stop running to the next experience and start integrating what they're experiencing, experience becomes knowledge, and knowledge becomes wisdom that they can pass on.

6 – Love that heals

6, 15, 24

In the light, 6 carries the energy of the heart: love, responsibility, integrity, protection, intuition, and the ability to support and heal. Family, belonging, and caring for loved ones may occupy an important place in his life.

In the shadows, love can turn into self-sacrifice, attachment, or the tendency to take on responsibilities that belong to others. In caring for everyone, he can sometimes forget to ask himself what he needs.

And therein lies the hidden gift of his shadow: to learn that true love does not require the disappearance of self. The lesson of 6 is to give without abandoning oneself, to support without saving, and to give to himself the same love that he gives so naturally to others.

7 – The road to the interior

7, 16, 25

In the light, 7 carries depth, introspection, independence, and a genuine need for knowledge. They are people who seek meaning beyond appearances and who can have a rich inner world, capable of inspiring others.

In the shadows, the need for space can become isolation, worry, criticism, or difficulty letting others get close. Sometimes there may even be a fear of loneliness behind the tendency to withdraw.

But withdrawal does not have to become separation. The shadow of the 7 invites him to transform loneliness into an encounter with himself. When he maintains his depth without breaking away from the world, his knowledge can become lived wisdom.

8 – The power to materialize

8, 17, 26

In light, 8 carries strength, courage, vision, leadership, and the ability to turn ideas into reality. There is a strong energy of construction, resources, success, and materialization here.

In the shadows, power can become control, excessive authority, criticism, self-criticism, or the need to prove your worth through results. Sometimes, behind a very powerful appearance there can be a fear of not being enough.

But 8 does not have to learn to give up its power, but to transform it into conscious power. Control can become leadership, ambition - construction, and success - a resource through which it creates value for others. True power begins when it no longer needs to impose itself in order to be felt.

9 – The gift of seeing beyond

9, 18, 27

In the light, 9 carries intuition, intelligence, sensitivity, and a profound ability to see beyond the obvious. They can perceive the big picture and feel the calling to put what they know into service of a greater good.

In the shadows, the multitude of things one feels and perceives can become confusion, inconsistency, lack of discipline, or difficulty finishing what one starts.

But what sometimes seems like disorientation can hide an extraordinary gift of vision. The lesson of the 9 is to give roots to its depth, to transform intuition into direction and knowledge into something concrete, to share with the world.

Light and shadow – the middle ground

Evolution does not mean arriving at a place where there is only light, but being able to look with the same gentleness and courage at all that we are, and love all that we are. To recognize our light without diminishing ourselves and to meet our shadow without judging ourselves.

It encompasses EVERYTHING , just as you are encompassed by EVERYTHING!

Let us recognize our light without shrinking and meet our shadow without judging ourselves.
